For more details please go to our Shipping page.

Return and Refund Policy
Please review our Return and Refund Policy page located here.

Curricula Coordination
All our experiments are coordinated with popular textbooks. This helps the student know which experiment best complements a textbook lesson to enhance the learning experience.  Our Curricula Coordination page provides the information for this experiment / textbook lesson relationship.  If you don’t see a kit coordinated with the textbook you are using but still require this information, feel free to Contact Us.

Safety Data Sheets
Many of our lab kits contain chemicals or organic matter required for a particular experiment.  The chemicals shipped in the kits are of very small amounts or of a diluted nature.  If you require MSDS or SDS information in regard to our kits, please check our Safety Data Sheets page.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

Q: Do your lab kits include a manual?
A: Yes. All QSL lab kits include at least one manual. Additional manuals are available and may be ordered under the corresponding category.  Manuals for custom kits are provided as part of the curriculum through the specific school.

Q: I have an older kit. Can I still get a manual for it?
A: We have some older manuals available but will need to know what year you purchased your kit. If you can, the photo on front of the manual and a date inside the manual is also helpful.

Q: Do you have a Brochure?
A: Yes, you can download our brochure from here. Contact us if you would like a printed brochure.

Q: Will I need any special equipment?
A: No with minor exceptions. The only items that are not included with the kits are either perishables (in the case of biology) or commonly available items. The MicroChem kit requires a digital multimeter for one experiment and the Physics Lab and Physical Science Lab kits need a 3-foot board as a ramp.

Q: Can the kits be used without the regular science equipment (such as is used in public schools)?
A: Only clean tables are required for setup. A nearby washroom can be used for cleanup.

Q: How much time is required for lab prep?
A: Lab prep can be time consuming for instructors. With Quality Science Lab kits, most of the laboratory preparation is already done. Make sure you have any extra supplies needed, pass out the kit(s), and tell the student(s) which experiment to do. This can be especially beneficial in situations where the instructor has a heavy class load or teaches multiple subjects.

Q: What if the instructor is new to the field?
A: The Quality Science Lab kits were designed to be usable with little adult supervision. This was accomplished by including tested step-by-step instructions. In the classroom, this helps both new and seasoned instructors by minimizing questions and maximizing the students' productivity.

Q: Some of the kits can be used multiple times. Are the uses concurrent or sequential?
A: The kits can be reused sequentially. A lab group of one to four students can work together using one kit. Additional students at the same time would require more kits. Subsequent classes can reuse the kits and refill kits are available for several of our kits to replenish consumables.

Q: What methods of disposal are required for the chemicals?
A: All chemistry-type experiments are based on the microscale method (also known as the small scale method). By employing this method, the Quality Science Lab kits use about 1/100th of the chemicals a typical lab would consume. We recommend that you check with the local authorities but cleanup should be a matter of rinsing off the equipment in a sink.

Q: How many students will each kit service?
A: This depends on how many students can work together. In a classroom setting we recommend students work in groups of two to four. The chemistry and physical science kits have an expected service life of five uses. The Physics Lab kit has an expected life of ten uses with minimal refills. The Biology Lab has a refill kit which is needed for each reuse.

Q: Can I use Quality Science kits with my homeschool curriculum?
A: Yes, all our experiments are coordinated with popular textbooks.
